Les Airelles is simply wonderful, I wish we had been staying longer...
This is a little gem in the French Alps. It's a 200 year old farm house so full of character, about 5 kms from Briancon and really quiet. The host and owner Andre welcomed us warmly and showed us to a lovely upstairs room overlooking the meadows - comfortable beds and alpine air ensured a good night's sleep. The breakfast the next morning was just superb - boiled eggs, cold meat, local cheeses and preserves, croissants and breads, Nespresso coffee, fruit, crepes...it went on and on!
I cannot recommend Les Airelles highly enough.
